The world of chamber music is a relatively conservative one. It needs ambassadors to make it accessible. Additionally, brass is most often associated with jazz or military music and brass bands. Through our presentations, we are hoping to surprise, seduce and rally the listener up to the cause of brass, particularly chamber music called classic. Our distinctive use of theatre helps to advocate this music and to facilitate its circulation, reaching all audiences  -  young and old alike.

Additionally, Buzz offers their musitheatrical creations to general audiences. Full use of the theme, the interpretation of the musical repertoire and the touch of humour at the heart of these performances, appeals to all. These productions generate just as much interest in adult audiences as they do in the young ones. Buzz also offers chamber music concerts to the general audiences where the musicians share their passion of brass with their listeners.

No matter the audience, at every representation everyone is unanimous: Buzz is truly amazing!

This chamber music concert consists of a repertoire of traditional folk music. You will hear traditional francophone tunes, also, a tribute to three pillars of Quebecois songs – Gilles Vigneault, Félix Leclerc, and Mary Travers (also known as La Bolduc). The program is completed with a few works from the brass quintet repertoire where the tone respects the folk theme of the concert.

Our extensive repertoire includes a happy blend of musical styles from the Renaissance (1453–1600) to the present. Whether you prefer works by Giovanni Gabrieli, Johann Sebastian Bach or Duke Ellington, we can arrange a concert program that meets your needs and expectations.
Buzz and organist Raymond Perrin unite to offer you a personalized version of the famous symphonic suite composed by Gustav Holst entitled « The Planets ».   A monumental source of inspiration for The Seventh Art, this work paints the astrological personality of each planet of the solar system – except for earth:
