In the Fall of 2002, after completing his undergraduate studies, Sylvain Lapointe officially launched the Buzz project. Sylvain’s entrepreneurial instincts combined with wanting to experience touring with an odd and creative show led him to put together a group of passionate artists sharing the same vision. Since then, more than 300 concerts and musitheatrical shows have been presented all over Quebec.
Buzz is the joyous recipient of the OPUS Prize for Production of the Year / Young Audiences for the “RocamBUZZlesque! (UnBUZZievable!)” show.

This prize included a $5000 bursary and was rewarded on January 28th 2007 during the 10th edition of the Gala des prix OPUS where the excellence of concert music in Quebec is both distinguished and emphasized.
